A girl was humiliated after she was caught while trying to play a fast one on a lady in Delta state. According to reports, a lady who wanted to withdraw money from the ATM at GT Bank was discouraged due to the long queue as she reportedly gave her ATM card to a girl who is said to be in SS2 - to help her withdraw N10,000. According to reports, the girl reportedly withdrew N70,000 for herself (N50k which she transferred to her account and N20K which she kept in her pocket)... After making the transfer, the girl decided to disappear but was confronted by the owner of the account who chased her with a motorcycle and was shouting 'thief-thief'. The girl was immediately nabbed by passersby and it was discovered that the girl was a secondary student in one of the schools in Sapele area of Delta state and helps her mother to sell at Okirigwhre market. 

Super Eagles get N50m gift from mogul, Adebutu The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been rewarded with the sum of N50 million by a Multi –millionaire mogul, Chief Kensington Adebutu, for becoming the first African country to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.  Some unknown gunmen invaded a compound and shot the landlord and his friend dead. The incident which took place on the 4th of October at no. 23 Mgbuoshimini community, Agip Mile 4, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State has left two people dead, The landlord popularly called Koko and his friend Dickson while some got injured from the machete cuts and also from stray bullets while escaping from the men of underworld. According to one the deceased tenant who shared the story wrote: “It was even by the grace of God that so many of us escaped that night because so many people were injured, some with machete cut, while others were hit by spray bullets but I thank God because i’m alive today not because i’m perfect but because my mission is yet to be accomplished. Rip Koko, Rip Dickson. Happy birthday to me”

Three women and 14 others lost their lives following the recent boat mishap in Jalbabu in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi state. The incident which occurred last Monday at about  12 noon  had about 60 passengers onboard a ferry from Jalababu in Yauri LGA of Kebbi to Tatebu in Bura LGA, Niger state. The Council Chairman, Yauri LGA, Hon.Musa Muhammad told the agency's assessment team led by the Head Nema Sokoto Operations Office, Mal. Suleiman Muhammad that 17 people have so far been rescued. He however lamented that continuous search and rescue operations by local divers is still going on to ascertain the casualties figures. Meanwhile, the agency will continue monitoring the operations for an updates on the inc idents.
