Our Attack Is The Best' - Wayne Rooney

Image
Roy Hodgson has five forwards to choose from for the crucial world cup qualifiers against Montengro and Poland - but it is the potential partnership with Daniel Sturridge that excites Rooney. Rooney told Sky Sports News: "I think since I've been in the squad this is probably the best group of forwards we've had in terms of ability, goal-scoring wise and then obviously Rickie Lambert's come into the squad, he's scoring goals for Southampton he's done really well for England. "Then you've got Welbeck and Sturridge and then obviously myself. Me and Jermain have probably been around the squad a bit longer and I think with Sturridge and Welbeck there's a lot of energy. Obviously we can both score goals so it's a good blend of forwards." Rooney is confident that he would be able to strike up a fruitful partnership with Daniel Sturridge - if asked to do so by Roy Hodgson. "Daniel's been in tremendous form this sea...

Speaking through the Secretary-General of the Grassroots Development Initiative, GDI, Samuel Nwanosike, Wike also called on well-meaning Nigerians to call Gov. Amaechi to order and stop embarrassing people of Rivers State. These claims were in reaction to a statement credited to Amaechi that rather than focus on the strike embarked upon by ASUU, and recently ASUP, he (Wike) was busy gallivanting campaigning for his governorship ambition. All of the church’s human waste is discharged into the canal after the church built its toilets on the canal. The State government has had to seal off the entire...
