Western Kenya: A Kisumu woman is beseeching the government to allow her ‘sell’ her children to get money to buy land. Jane Anyango Adika, who lives in abject poverty in the flood-prone region of Kano, has said that she wants to raise funds to buy land elsewhere.

This Paraguayan couple met each other, fell in love and moved in together in 1933, six years before the outbreak of World War Two. Issues like this are getting so rampant in recent times, basically why this was put up today is to understand what leads to this kind of ugly act. The Vice Chancellor of the Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), Prof. Femi Mimiko, has said authorities of the university were making efforts that would lead to the end of the 137-day-long strike by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
