Lagos State Government has been dragged into a federal court by the 76 destitute persons it deported and dumped on the Upper Iweka Bridge, Onitsha, Anambra State on July 24, 2013. Seven of the deportees filed the suit before the court sitting in Lagos on behalf of rest while the state’s Attorney-General and Commissioner of Police are the respondents. The deportees are seeking a declaration by the court that their arrest and detention in various camps within Lagos state for no offence known to law and without trial and conviction by a court of competent jurisdiction, amounted to a serious breach of their rights as provided for in the relevant sections of the constitution. The hearing, which will be presided over by Justice Anumogobia, is set to begin on January 29, 2014.

 Davido shot Skelewu video with prolific music video director Sesan and apparently didn't like it and was planning to do a re-shoot but someone leaked the video. Davido says he's planning to reshoot the video tomorrow with UK based music video director, Moe Musa. Hopefully, that will be a better vid. Prisons minister Jeremy Wright told MailOnline how 'more foreign prisoners must serve their sentences in their own countries'. Ministers have been ordered to step up efforts to end the scandal of more than one in eight prisoners being from overseas. David Cameron vowed to end the practice of the British taxpayer picking up the bill for criminals with no business in the UK.
