They have since had a naming ceremony after they returned to Nigeria and this is the first time they'll be sharing a family photo with their babies online.

Thieves break into Jason Derulo's Los Angeles mansion and take $300k of cash and jewelry

Jason Derulo's Los Angeles mansion was broken into by thieves who stole around $300,000 of cash and jewelery. This was not discovered immediately as the singer is out of town, but a staff memeber found out when she visited his home on Friday. According to TMZ; the maid realized someone had entered and taken some things after finding a smashed window and broken door. Police were called to the property and took a burglary report, but are waiting for Derulo to return home and officially identify the missing items. There is suspicion that the theft may have been an inside job, with only one room targeted.

PSG offer Cavani €1million to hand over penalty duties to Neymar

Edinson Cavani has turned down a €1million bonus in exchange for conceding Paris Saint-Germain’s penalties to Neymar, according to ElPais. Cavani would receive the bonus for finishing the season as Ligue 1’s top goalscorer. However, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has reportedly offered to pay out that sum, whether or not he finishes a top the scoring charts. Only on the condition that he surrenders penalty duties to his Brazilian team-mate. Al-Khelaifi is also understood to have sent representatives to convince Neymar to drop the dispute, explaining that the world’s most expensive footballer, should allow Cavani take penalties to maintain his confidence up front. However, the former Barcelona forward apparently did not agree with that logic.

Trump Issues More Threats Against North Korea

UNITED States President, President Donald Trump has responded to insults from North Korea’s foreign minister with more threats.“Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at United Nations If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man, they won’t be around much longer!” Trump said on Twitter. North Korea’s foreign minister brought a dictionary full of insults for Trump when he addressed the UN General Assembly on Saturday. Ri Yong Ho said he needed to respond to Trump, who on Tuesday called North Korean leader Kim Jong Un “Rocket Man” and said he was on a suicide mission with his nuclear program. Gunmen kill 3 policemen, abduct Health Minister’s brother in Edo

Gunmen on Sunday evening killed three policemen attached to Ogba Zoo and Nature Park in Benin and abducted the head of the zoo, Dr Andy Ehanire, who is a brother of the Minister of State for Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire. The three policemen were reportedly killed at about 6pm and disarmed by the attackers The attack caused panic attacks the zoo with fun seekers, who had come to enjoy their Sunday evening, scampered for safety. Edo State police spokesman, DSP Moses Nkombe, who confirmed the killings and abduction on the phone, said the situation has been brought under control. DSP Nkombe said the attackers would soon be arrested as security has been beefed up in the area. He assured members of the public that the zoo is safe for fun seekers.

Security Agencies Unmask IPOB's Paris Account Holder

Security agents have identified the Nigerian suspected to be operating the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Paris, France, it was learnt at the weekend. The government last week said money was being raised from some Nigerians in the diaspora to fund IPOB. Funds were also raised from events, including a football tournament organised in Senegal, for the banned organisation. Funds raised from the diaspora Nigerians’ donation and other sources are remitted to an account in Paris from where it is disbursed for the organisation’s activities. The account holder was not named at the weekend. Senators shouldn't use our taxes to pay themselves allowances- Itse Sagay

Chairman Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), Itse Sagay, has once again come hard on members of the Senate over what he describes as their frivolous allowances and jumbo salaries they collect for sitting for few hours in the chamber. In a chat with The Nation, Sagay decried the list of allowances senators collect just for occupying the National Assembly.  Recall that Sagay on September 6th at a lecture in Lagos, said that each member of the Senate collects as much asN29 million as monthly salary and N3 billion per annum.  He gave the breakdown of the salary of N29 million naira per month as follows: Basic Salary N2, 484, 245.50;  Hardship allowance, N1,242, 122.70; Constituency allowance N4, 968, 509.00; Furniture allowance N7, 452, 736.50; Newspaper allowance N1, 242, 122.70; Wardrobe allowance, N621,061.37;  Recess allowance N248, 424.55; Accommodation N4,968,509.00;  Utilities N828,081.83; Domestic staff N1,863,184.12; Entertainment N828,081.83; P

Ambode approves the reconstruction of Onikan Stadium

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has approved the rehabilitation and upgrade of the 5,000 capacity Onikan Stadium, near Tafawa Balewa Square Lagos Island, in order to make it meet the expectations of a 21st Century sporting facility which is also in line with the new Onikan-Marina Regeneration plan. In a statement issued on Sunday by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Steve Ayorinde,the state government said the upgrade demonstrates its commitment to use sports as a potent tool for development and job creation; adding that the stadium, which is the oldest in Nigeria, was originally built in 1930 but was last renovated in the 1980s. “The upgrading of the stadium will rekindle the interest of football fans in local league, as well as promote sports tourism, take sports to greater heights and encourage youth activities,”he said. Eiye cult members kill their leader in Lagos state

A manhunt has begun for the cutists suspected of killing their leader in the Bariga area of Lagos state. The slain leader, popularly known as Major, is said to be behind the initiation of Eiye boys in Shomolu and Bariga areas of the state, New Telegraph reports. He was described as a fearless leader and a terror in his community and to other rival cult groups. He was eventually killed, allegedly by his fellow Eiye cultists, while he slept at  his home in Taiwo off Rashida Kotun Street Idiaba, Bariga, Lagos, last month.  A source who requested anonymity told New telegraph that his assailants sneaked into his house and stabbed Major in the chest and other parts of his body, adding that they knew that was the only way they could attack and kill him.
