Faryal Makhdoom has deleted the Twitter apology she made to her husband and his family after he refuted claims they want to fix their marriage. Frayl, who is pregnant with the couple's second child, went on Twitter yesterday to apologize to her in-laws. She revealed in the tweet that she wanted to mend things with Amir and start over again because their unborn child did not deserve to come into a broken home. But after she shared the tweet, Amir took to Twitter to insist that there was no hope of a reconciliation and they'll be going ahead with the divorce. Faryal must have found it embarrassing and she immediately deleted her apology. How bad!

      Zimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe doesn't seem to be a fan of USA President Donald Trump, that is if his speech at the UN general assembly is anything to go by. While speaking on Thursday night at the ongoing UN general assembly, Mugabe appeared to mock Trump. He called Trump a "Goliath who threatens the extinction of other countries." His statement comes after Trump threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea. "Some of us were embarrassed, if not frightened, by what appeared to be the return of the biblical giant called Goliath," Mr Mugabe said and claps and cheers followed. "Are we having a return of Goliath to our midst, who threatens the extinction of other countries?" he asked. Unknown gunmen suspected to be armed robbers stormed a filling station at Tor-Donga community in Kastina-Ala Local Government Area of Benue State, shot dead two people before carting away undisclosed amount of money. Spokesperson for the State Police Command, Moses Joel Yamu, confirmed the incident  occurred at Mangris Filling station on Monday, September 18 at about 7pm. Yamu said the owner of the petrol filling station reported that the robbers stormed his business premises located at the Tor-Donga rural community, shot dead two people, carted away monies and other valuables.He said the robbery gang had ordered everyone to lay on the barefloor while their illicit operation lasted.But, one of the victim had raised his head during the process which propelled the angry robbers to pull their trigger on him.The police spokesman added that the victim died on his way to the hospital, alongside another civilian also shot dead by the robbers at the scene of the incident.A soldier, who

American Hip Hop act, Mystikal was indicted by a Caddo Parish grand jury on Tuesday with one count of first-degree rape, and one count of second-degree kidnapping after being connected to a 2016 assault ina Shreveport casino. A DNA evidence in August was said to have linked him to the rape case, soon after an arrest warrant was issued for the New Orleans rapper nearly 14 years after his previous rape conviction. According to KSLA News, the 46-year-old rapper, born Michael Lawrence Tyler, who was among one of three people allegedly involved in the assault was arrested and charged last month after he turned himself in to the authorities. His bond is set at $3 million. Others indicted were Averweone Darnell Holman, 26, and Tenichia Monieck Wafford, 42. Holman received a similar ruling as Mystikal and has a $3 million bail. The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has challenged Governor Ayodele Fayose’s claim that the state is not gaining anything from the President Muhammadu Buhari-led federal government. It said instances of the federal Government’s assistance abound that should have lifted Ekiti people from their present sorry state if the governor had applied various financial aids by the Federal Government honestly. Fayose, in his recent media chat on state-owned media said that the Federal Government has not rendered any assistance to Ekiti under Buhari. President Muhammadu Buhari has left NewYork, United States, where he participated at the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). The president left New York for London probably to see his doctors for a further medical check-up. His chief spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, had in a statement issued last Friday ahead of his departure from the country, said Buhari would visit London en route Nigeria without stating the purpose for the stopover. The president had spent 50 days in London between January 19 and March 10 when he returned to the country. He returned to London on May 7, where he spent another 103 days. He eventually returned to Nigeria on August 19 after a series of protests calling for his return. The date of his return from London to Nigeria is yet to be announced but it is believed that it will not exceed this weekend. The naira, yesterday, depreciated further to N360.33 per dollar in the Investors and Exports (I&E) Foreign Exchange, forex Window. Data from the Financial Market Dealers Quote, FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the I& E Window, known as Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange, NAFEX declined to N360.33 per dollar, yesterday, from N360.25 per dollar on Wednesday. Hence the naira has depreciated marginally by 8 kobo per dollar. Meanwhile, in the parallel market, the naira, yesterday, maintained the N367per dollar it exchanged on Wednesday. The naira had traded highest this month at N362 per dollar, while the lowest was N350 per dollar in the I & E Forex Window.

THE Federal Government is set to meet Turkish diplomats today over the spate of illegal importation of riffles from Turkey to Nigeria. Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) Comptroller-General (CG) Col. Hameed Ali (retd) said this when he briefed reporters over the seizure of another 470 rifles at Tin-Can Island port in Lagos. A meeting between the leadership of Customs and the Turkish Ambassador in Nigeria will hold today as part of efforts to fish out those directly or remotely connected with the importation. It was learnt that the new container, in which 470 rifles was found, belongs to the same importer of the 1,100 rifles seized at the port few days ago. Col. Ali said the Customs Service was sad to announce that in spite of their previous efforts, officers of the service at the Tin-Can Island port intercepted the 470 rifles shipped into the country from Turkey.
